I’ve been snuggling up under my Page Turner Throw as the evenings turn cool. I think (and I admit I’m totally biased, here) it has the perfect combination of qualities – the worsted wool gives it warmth and a bit of heft, while the pattern lends a soft appearance.
This version of the pattern can be found in the Knit Picks Independent Designer Patterns. It’s made of Wool of the Andes Worsted, which comes in 100 colors!
The throw is framed by icord, which reflects the cabling between the Calla lily motif.
I want to thank Knit Picks for including another of my patterns as part of their Independent Designer Partnership program!

I just started to knit the Page Turner Throw. I love the pattern. Question on the symbols. I can’t find a difference in the last 2. Should the last one say k2, k1 from 2nd cn, k2 from first cn instead of k2,p1,k2? I bought the pattern from love knitting.com. Please let me know. Thank you.
Hi Susanne. You have asked a very good question. The text instructions for the two cables do indeed read the same. The difference is only in the symbols. The reason for this is that the first symbol (with the dot in the center), is a pictorial representation of the stitches below it, in which the center stitch is a purl. The symbol at the bottom of the symbol list represents a similar group of stitches with the difference being that the center stitch is a knit.
I hope that helps clear things up! Please write again if you have more questions, or if I haven’t explained this well enough.
I’m so pleased that you’re making this throw. It’s one of my favorites!
