It’s hard to believe another year of blogs has gone by! My AudKnits website turns 4 this year, and I want to thank all of you for making it an exciting one.
Of course the big news of the year was the publication of my book Reversible Scarves: Curing the Wrong Side Blues. I’m thrilled that the book has been well received by the knitting community!
I also published my Emmalina Hat, with lots of fun twisted stitch detailing
and the Page Turner Throw

Yippee! I’m conducting another giveaway, with FOUR winners to celebrate FOUR years of blogging. The fantastic Lima Pop Shoppe on Artfire has created a Special Edition set of six stitch markers using colors from the AudKnits website! Laurie Prestia carefully crafts her markers using smooth wire that does not catch on yarn. The markers fit up to US #10 size needles, but are thin enough to work well on small needles as well – I use mine on sock and lace projects all the time.
To win, enter a comment here on this post by midnight Pacific Time on November 18th. Please include your contact information in your comment so I can let you know if you’re one of the lucky winners! I’ll be conducting a random drawing for the four winners. (One comment per person, please, with only one comment and email address per person.)
Resources:
You can find lots of gorgeous stitch markers, including the AudKnits special edition, at Lima Pop Shoppe on Artfire.com.
Emmalina Hat Pattern: Emmalina Hat on Ravelry and Emmalina Hat in Knit Picks
Page Turner Throw Pattern: Page Turner Throw on Ravelry and Page Turner Throw in Knit Picks
Reversible Scarves: Curing the Wrong Side Blues can be ordered through Cooperative Press.
I’d like to win! And I’m definatley going to have to buy that book.
Happy Blogiversary, and may there be many more!
Congratulations! Your blog is one of my faves, and the patterns are gorgeous!
Congrats on making it four years! I can be reached on Ravelry as NessaMcTastic
Your Page Turner Throw is absolutely beautiful. I love the stitch markers!
I just came across your site for the first time. I am new to knitting and just poking around to see what is out there. I want to get 2 of your books one for myself and one for my daughter, she’s the one who is teaching me to knit. I taught her to crochet. Seems fair. Thank you for your blog I like it very much. I’m a central Cali girl too.
Welcome to the wonderful world of knitting, Catherine! I hope that you’ll get a lot of joy from my book – you’ll be able to make the simpler patterns now, and then try the more challenging ones as you add more skills. (Yay central Cal!)
Congratulations on 4 years and well done for everything achieved this year! Those stitch markers are beautiful colors, they will compliment any Work In Progress.

Catching up on podcasts and just heard your interview on Ready, Set, Knit — and I’ve added your book to my Christmas list! I’m also in love with that Page Turner throw; I’m about to start chemo and that might be the way to ficus my mind during sessions. Awesome!
I send you best wishes during this difficult time, and hope that the throw pattern brings you some joy.
Happy blogiversary!
