Christmas Smock Top Sock Knitting Pattern
This cuffed sock features hidden ribbing to hold the sock up. It is worked from top down, with the cuff worked flat and the rest worked in the round.
Yarns that call for about 7.5 sts/in on size 3 needles will work for this pattern, as the pattern
gauge will give you nice tight fabric for comfortable walking in the socks.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Women’s Sizes: Small (shoe size 4-6), Medium (shoe size 7-9) and Large (shoe size 10-12)

Cuff length: 3.25” for all sizes
Leg length with cuff folded over: 5.375 (5.5, 5.675)”
Circumference: 7 (7.5, 8)”
Foot length: approx. 9 (9.5, 10)”
Yarn: Regia 4-ply (75% superwash new wool, 25% polyamide; 210 m/50 g): 1 skein of Red #2054 (A) and 1 skein for Small and Medium, or 2 skeins for Large, of Green #2082 (B).
Needles: pair of US#2 straight, 1 set US#1 dpn
Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle
Gauge: 9 st and 11.25 rows per inch on smallest needles in stockinette [Note: Yarns that call for about 7.5 sts/in on size 3 needles will work for this pattern, as the pattern gauge will give you nice tight fabric for comfortable walking in the socks.]
